MacLean Power Systems Shows Some Hospitality on Bourbon Street

On April 20th, MacLean Power Systems hosted a hospitality suite at the Royal Sonesta Hotel on New Orleans’ famous Bourbon Street.

Cocktails and appetizers weren’t the only thing MPS served to customers and employees attending this year’s IEEE PES T&D Tradeshow and Convention – a true New Orleans experience complete with balconies and beads were also on the menu in the MacLean Power Systems’ hospitality suite.

MPS hosted a memorable night for guests as some of the evening’s cocktail reception included authentic New Orleans’ appetizers, cocktails and even a piano set my MPS’s own Linda Harris, Marketing Director – Insulators. The Royal Sonesta’s second floor suite looked over the famous Bourbon Street in New Orleans’ French Quarter where guests were able to throw beads onto the crowds below.

“It’s been almost fifteen years since we’ve done something like this,” said Marge Hitzler, Sales Administrator. “This was hands down one of the best IEEE I’ve been to in years. What a way to show off the new direction were moving.”
