MacLean Power Systems Completes Acquisition of Delta Star
MacLean Power Systems (“MPS”) today announced that it has completed its previously announced acquisition of Delta
Star, Inc. (“Delta Star”), a leading manufacturer of power transformers, mobile transformers, mobile substations, and
comprehensive asset management services.
Founded in 1908, Delta Star provides mission-critical products and asset management services that help customers
strengthen grid reliability, expand capacity, and maintain essential power infrastructure. Its engineering expertise,
manufacturing capabilities, and responsive support serve customers’ needs from new installations and infrastructure
upgrades to emergency response and ongoing asset care.
The acquisition expands MPS’s portfolio and strengthens its ability to deliver comprehensive solutions across
transmission, distribution, and substation infrastructure. Delta Star’s complementary capabilities and established
customer relationships position the combined business to support growing electricity demand and continued
investment in grid modernization and resilience.
